The Sr. Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, fostering, and sustaining a sound Integrity and Compliance culture as well as for leading, embedding and strengthening the Compliance Program. The Compliance Function runs an effective Compliance Program designed to ensure compliance with anti-corruption and other compliance laws, regulations, and industry best practices, to promote ethical and appropriate behavior among employees and to prevent and detect misconduct. The Senior Compliance Manager APAC will be the primary compliance advisor for Pall in the APAC region.
This position reports to the Global Compliance Director and is part of the Legal & Compliance team. This role will be located in Benoi, Singapore / KL, Malaysia and is an onsite role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Review and advise on business activities and strategies and support implementation of Compliance systems, processes and controls.
Modify, update and implement Compliance policies and procedures, and design and conduct ongoing Compliance training for associates.
Conduct compliance risk assessments and develop risk management strategies and implement internal design controls to mitigate business risks, including third party/distributor risk management.
Conduct regular compliance auditing and monitoring to assess the effectiveness of compliance systems, processes, and controls, and implement any required remedial actions.
Promote Danaher’s Code of Conduct, core values, Speak Up program, and conduct investigations and oversee implementation of related corrective actions.
The essential requirements of the job include:
5+ years of Compliance experience in the relevant risk areas within the life science/healthcare industries, or a similarly highly regulated industry.
B.A. or B.S. or similar university degree required.
Business minded, risk conscious, proactive, solutions-oriented, and self-motivated professional, able to explain complex compliance points to the business; able to take business managers’ concerns and demands into
