As Project Manager, you will manage various activities including project programmes, projects, and project teams with Senior Project Managers. You will develop project protocols and ensure the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality levels expected by Currie & Brown and our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Senior Project Managers with general administration, communication, and reporting.
  • Participate actively in Currie & Brown internal forums, training, and social events.
  • Promote the Currie & Brown values at all times.
  • Maintain a good understanding of contracts, adopt a commercial approach to letting tenders, and negotiate effectively with contractors and suppliers.
  • Seek and capitalize on opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
  • Provide administrative support for managing day-to-day client interactions and expectations across multiple projects.
  • Communicate effectively with clients.
  • Develop lasting relationships with client personnel to foster strong ties.
  • Contribute to team efforts as well as individual tasks.
  • Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm, maintaining a positive, ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Actively seek and utilize feedback to improve personal performance.
  • Be flexible where possible in role and team contributions.
  • Understand the critical success factors in project management, construction management, and contract administration of building projects, and how they affect clients and Currie & Brown.
  • Communicate difficult or sensitive information tactfully.
  • Ensure compliance with QA/QC systems through regular project audits.
