Senior Assistant Manager (Operations Informatics), Eastern General Hospital Planning Office

The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) aims to provide excellent healthcare and promote healing centered around each person. In this role, you will collaborate with clinical leads and planning teams to support informatics requirements for ongoing operations and the development of new services and capabilities. You will promote patient safety and enhance productivity by working with internal and external stakeholders to align informatics needs with hospital service development and operational plans. Your responsibilities include coordinating workflow simulations (both virtual and physical prototypes), facilitating procurement and resourcing for projects, and supporting operational readiness, activation, and transition (ORAT) plans.

You will also facilitate coordination meetings with project stakeholders and provide regular reports to the Hospital Planning Committee.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or Engineering (preferred)
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in a local hospital setting (advantageous)
  • Strong project management and technology adoption skills
  • Excellent planning, analytical, and communication skills
  • Critical thinking and innovative mindset
  • Ability to engage stakeholders in a dynamic environment
  • Resilience under pressure and adaptability to challenging conditions
