About Our Client
Our client is a global tech company specializes in cutting-edge wireless communication solutions, radio frequency, network optimization, and secure wireless connectivity. They are setting up their new International Headquarters in Singapore, hence are looking for a Legal Manager/Director.
Job Description
  • This role reports to the General Manager and General Counsel.
  • You will provide strategic legal advice to senior management, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead a team of 1 legal counsel, and engage with external counsel on complex matters. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including sales, teaming, reseller, lease, service, and license contracts, both domestically and internationally.
  • Proactively advising on contractual claims and disputes.
  • Contributing to special projects such as investments, mergers & acquisitions, and the establishment of new overseas business units.
  • Conducting ad-hoc legal training.
  • Reviewing and drafting tender contractual documents.

The Successful Applicant
  • A Bachelor of Laws (Honors) degree from a recognized university.
  • Admission to the Singapore bar.
  • A minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in cross-border corporate and commercial law.
  • Preferred experience in IP/technology and/or project-based work.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and lead a team.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated capacity for independent work
