Ink is looking for a Managing Director (MD) responsible for the day to day running of the company, its strategic direction, financial success and every process that generates revenue. Travel is so vitally important to the world, and the stories we tell on behalf of our customers plays a crucial role in driving local economies and brands. We build a “Market Place for Travellers” allowing brands to communicate to real actual, travellers across multiple platforms at every stage of their travel journey at the right stage, at the right place and at the right time. Our headquarters is in London, and we have global offices in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, London and Miami. The role will include and not be exclusive to: The aims of company are focused on growth and profits it is the responsibility of the MD Singapore to ensure that the company strategy is geared towards this. Responsibilities Hitting and exceeding agreed budget and profit for the APAC region in each financial year Setting the overall commercial strategic direction of the company. Commercial launches planned and executed to achieve goals - manage and participate in any RFP pitch process including heading up new partner presentations Financial compliance and instructions are being followed and only good business is written. Creating new inventory to drive commercial success Leading the company and ensuring all employees commit to and be the company vision and culture. Creating a tribe who all believe in the same thing. Provide leadership and motivation to all employees Plans attractive strategies to retain skilled, hardworking, and productive employees. Establish company policies and legal guidelines Implementing new processes and procedures across the business. Corporate governance Establish and maintain relationships with our customers – partners, advertisers, readers, and internal staff Global communication and sharing of best practice Responsible for the production, admin, commercial design, finance, and digital support with cross discipline synergy achieving their objectives Maintain existing commercial and advertising partnership relations Essential Skills More than 10 years proven experience in a commercial leadership position More than 10 years proven experience in the travel media sector An understanding of the global travel markets place Natural leader and motivator of people Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans Excellent organizational and leadership skills Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities. Able to analyses problems and strategize for better solutions Proven track record of successfully leading similar sized organizations Target driven, and results focused individual Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead Motivated to be successful and want to win Relentless tenacity Positive - with the drive and ability to self-motivate Entrepreneurial spirit See pressure of a dynamic sales culture as a privilege Prepared to travel Have superb communication skills Can plan and implement a plan under little supervision, with a can-do attitude #J-18808-Ljbffr
