Role Overview

As a Data Scientist – Trading Insight , you will work on developing and optimizing quantitative strategies that power Binance’s trading systems. This is a high-impact, technical role that combines data science, trading strategy, and machine learning in the fast-moving world of crypto.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy Development : Design and refine algorithmic trading strategies using statistical modeling and machine learning
  • Market Signal Research : Mine massive datasets (order book, tick-level, on-chain, macro) for predictive indicators and alpha
  • Backtesting & Simulation : Build simulation frameworks to validate trading hypotheses under various scenarios
  • ️ Execution Optimization : Collaborate with engineers to integrate models into low-latency systems
  • Portfolio Analytics : Perform post-trade analysis and contribute to performance decomposition and optimization
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Math, Statistics , or related field
  • 3+ years (mid-level) or 6+ years (senior) in quantitative or algorithmic trading
  • Strong coding skills in Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch); C++ experience is a plus
  • Experience with market microstructure and tick-level/order book data
  • Solid foundation in probability theory , time-series modeling , and optimization
  • Bonus: Familiarity with kdb+/q , high-frequency trading systems, and crypto market structure (CEX/DEX/derivatives)
