Overview

Solution Architect role at Microsoft in Microsoft Industry Solutions Delivery. The organization hosts over 6,000 strategic sellers, industry and security experts, elite engineers, data scientists, architects, consultants, and delivery specialists. We help Microsoft's most strategic customers address their challenges with comprehensive, industry-specific solutions that meet their unique needs. The team focuses on the customer's digital and AI transformation journey using Microsoft Cloud and AI.

The Solution Architect is responsible for translating the client's business requirements into systems, applications, or process designs for very large, complex technology solutions and architectures. You'll act as an advocate for the client as the authority on the architecture designed to address business problems, providing direction for design activities (project-based, sometimes on customer sites). The role is flexible with up to 50% remote work.

Responsibilities

• Dynamics 365 Solution Architect providing technical expertise and leadership across Pre-Sales and Delivery.
• Mentor delivery teams to shape the solution, providing quality assurance and guardrails for successful delivery.
• Evaluate client requirements and align the solution to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Power Platform offerings.
• Develop end-to-end solutions based on Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft stack, identifying relevant technology components based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop high-quality proposals, client presentations, and demonstrations.
• Develop and harvest solution IP, assets/accelerators, and support go-to-market activities.
• Lead delivery engagements, including planning and leading workshops.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (STU, ATU, GBB, Fast Track) to support Microsoft Business Applications growth plans across ASEAN and Asia.

Qualifications Technical Skills Required

• Specialize in Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform; understanding of the overall Microsoft stack including Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
• Deep functional and technical knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE (Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Contact Centre, Field Service, Project Operations, Copilot).
• Deep knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power Virtual Agents).
• Good understanding of Integration and Data migration platforms.
• Good understanding of DevOps processes.
• Experience delivering complex, large-scale applications based on Dynamics 365 CE.
• Experience in Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile methodologies.

Non-Technical Skills Required

• Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills with internal, external, and partner stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present complex ideas to various audiences.
