Job Description UOB Investment Banking provides a comprehensive range of services including strategic advisory, customized financial solutions, mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, leveraged finance, syndicated loans, and capital market activities. The Corporate Finance & Advisory team works closely with all investment banking product teams to structure and execute optimal capital solutions for UOB clients. Job Responsibilities Act as deal team leader in all phases of structured loans origination and execution, including research, idea generation, pitch book preparation, analysis and modelling, transaction structuring, documentation and deal closing. Have experience in origination and execution of complex structured credit, leveraged finance and/or acquisition finance. Identify, structure and lead deal origination and pitches, demonstrating knowledge of multiple IB products to win client mandates. Manage and interface with senior clients externally, collaborating with UOB colleagues and other senior internal stakeholders. Conduct and manage junior analysts in valuation analysis, comparable and precedent transaction analysis. Conduct and manage juniors in credit analysis and the credit approval process. Lead and coordinate due diligence workstreams with independent third parties. Build detailed financial models for valuation, benchmarking and financial performance measurement. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. 12–15 years of experience in investment banking, with a background in debt, leveraged finance or structured credit. Familiarity with structured credit/leveraged finance/acquisition finance, including credit structuring, termsheet negotiation, internal credit approvals and loan documentation. Ability to think creatively to originate and pitch multiple IB products across loans, bonds, equity, advisory, etc. High level of drive, initiative and deal follow‑through, with the ability to originate and lead deal execution and spot opportunities in deal origination.
