The Role The Director of Corporate Strategy will serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO and senior leadership team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the company’s long-term strategic direction. This role is pivotal in driving the company’s growth strategy through mergers and acquisitions (M&A), strategic investments, capital raising, and partnerships . The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep expertise in corporate finance and deal-making , coupled with strong networks in the investment and advisory ecosystems . This position requires a blend of analytical rigor, negotiation prowess, and leadership to execute deals that enhance the company’s market position, expand its offerings, and deliver long‑term value to stakeholders. The successful candidate will also lead corporate planning, evaluate growth opportunities (organic and inorganic), and drive strategic initiatives that enhance enterprise value. Key Responsibilities Partner with the CFO and executive team to define, evaluate, and execute the company’s strategic priorities. Lead annual and multi-year strategic planning processes, ensuring alignment with financial and operational goals. Identify and pursue M&A, investment, and partnership opportunities; manage deal execution from origination to integration. Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, and potential risks. Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives — from problem framing to execution and performance tracking. Support capital‑raising efforts and strategic financing activities in partnership with the CFO and investors. Prepare board‑level materials, investor presentations, and strategic communications in collaboration with finance and executive leadership. Act as a strategic thought partner to senior leaders, facilitating decision‑making and alignment across key business units. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in corporate strategy, corporate development, management consulting, investment banking, or private equity. Proven expertise in deal origination, due diligence, valuation, and transaction execution. Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience in business case development, forecasting, and modeling. Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Proven ability to influence and collaborate across executive and cross‑functional teams. Highly self‑motivated, structured, and capable of managing multiple high‑impact projects concurrently.
