Associate, Reconciliation Operations Specialist, Treasury

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
ResponsibilitiesUtility team in TMO, primary role to perform TMO's Reconciliation tasks to support Treasury & Markets businessEnsure TMO's daily/weekly/monthly reconciliation tasks including but not exhaustive: Position Reconciliation (Source system Murex vs General Ledger); GLAO Reconciliation; Intermediary Accounts Reconciliation, are completed on a timely basisIdentify and resolve reconciliation breaks/exceptions across front, middle and back-office systems in a timely mannerEnsure all discrepancies are communicated to TMO teams / other relevant teams for timely investigationsEnsure discrepancies are appropriately escalated to the relevant managerial stakeholders for their attentionEnsure timely follow up with TMO teams / other relevant teams to close the discrepancies.Continuously improve on reconciliation processes and controls through leveraging technology and automation where possibleAssist in project UAT testing to ensure smooth implementation of any system changes/ upgrades or new product launch
RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Business or relevant fieldMinimum 3 years of operations experience, preferably in ReconciliationProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsMeticulous and familiar with basic accounting conceptsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and drive required outcomeStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to details, ability to think out-of-the-box to identify risks gaps and propose effective solutions or remediation plans
