About The Team Payments are a core pillar of Airwallex’s financial infrastructure, allowing merchants worldwide to accept payments using over 160 card schemes and payment methods. The Payments team is expanding rapidly to support new regions and services, and is maturing into an independent business entity within the Airwallex suite of products. What Will You Do Partner with the Product General Manager, Payments, to define and expand the strategic direction of the Payments team. Explore and expand the team’s regional expansion strategy, pricing approach, GTM motion, and more. Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, Revenue Strategy, Commercial, and Marketing to drive new initiatives and accelerate growth. Liaise directly with Executive leadership on Payments strategy activities. This role is based in Singapore. Responsibilities Drive and expand the strategic direction of the Airwallex Payments team, working closely with the Product General Manager, Payments. Conduct in-depth customer, market, and competitor research to identify growth opportunities and winning strategies. Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies combining market expansion, product development, pricing, and enablement plans. Manage and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive Payments initiatives. Prepare and update materials for business reviews, highlighting progress toward goals, key risks, and dependencies. Take a data-driven approach to identifying risks, opportunities, and overall health of the Payments team. Who You Are Experienced in technology, financial services, and/or high-growth environments. Experience in the Payments domain is a strong plus. Strong strategic and problem-solving skills with an analytical approach to developing strategies. Hands-on, results-oriented mindset capable of driving tangible outcomes. High accountability and effective stakeholder management and influencing skills. Collaborative across teams and cultures with excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Minimum Qualifications 10+ years of experience, preferably with a fast-growing tech startup or top-tier strategy/management consulting, or equivalent.
