HR Business Partner (Assistant Manager / Manager), Faculty of Law National University of Singapore – Faculty of Law – Kent Ridge Campus Organization: Office of Human ResourcesDepartment: HR Partnering - BTC‑LAW/CIL Overview HR Business Partner role supporting the mission of NUS Law. You will partner with research centres, faculty and business units to ensure effective and compliant HR management. Duties and Responsibilities Partner with Research Centres’ Directors / Principal Investigators / Managers to manage a full spectrum of HR functions for Research and Contingent staff. Identify recruitment needs, coordinate hiring, and ensure suitable talent acquisition. Provide professional advice on interpretation of NUS HR policies and procedures. Collaborate on manpower planning and budgeting, including Expenditure of Manpower (EOM) budget preparation and variance analysis. Act as contact point for employee relations issues, assess situations and provide HR guidance. Undertake ad‑hoc tasks and projects to support continuous improvement and operational excellence across HR functions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resource Management. At least 5 years’ experience, including 3 years as an HR Business Partner, preferably in higher education or research. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational and planning abilities. IT‑savvy with strong numerical and analytical skills. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel. Team‑player capable of managing multiple priorities. Meticulous and able to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines.
