ob Description & Requirements Job Description Report to the Project Manager Overall in charge of site coordination. Lead a team of operation staff in daily operations. Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction activities of the project. Monitor and control the general workers' deployment on-site. Maintain and manage site storage areas for building materials and equipment. Maintain site access throughout the construction period. Planning ahead to prevent the problem on-site before it occurs, planning the delivery and storage of equipment and materials. Ensure progress of work is within budget and timelines as well as quality and safety objectives. Control and monitor work progress and resources. Monitor and control material wastage. In-depth understanding of project specifications, technical details, and construction drawings. Carry out work scheduling, material requisition planning, project coordination, and documentation. Ensure timely completion and good quality of works & carried out safely and WSHE regulations are complied with. Provide proper guidance and training to junior staff. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor/ Management. Job Requirement Proven experience as Site Manager In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards Outstanding communications and negotiation skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills A team player with leadership abilities Advances time management and analytical skills Excellent client-facing communication skills Candidate must pass at least Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Diploma holders or equivalent with relevant experience BSc/BA in Engineering (Civil) or Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or relevant field (Degree is recognized by BCA will be an advantage) 3 years' experience in Site Management (Metal Works) #J-18808-Ljbffr
