Overview

An established, expanding international bank is urgently looking for an AVP, Counterparty Credit Risk Management in Singapore. This is an additional headcount. No WORK VISA SPONSORSHIP IS PROVIDED

Responsibilities
  • Help and involve in implementation and operation of 2nd Line of Defence (LOD) Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) and control frameworks for the bank in APAC, collaborating with the Credit Department, including design and enhancement of CCR frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Evaluate CCR related risks and watch CCR Portfolio for the bank in APAC, in line with Credit Department to ensure CCR risks remain within risk appetite.
  • Oversight of tracking and timely actions relating to the CCR portfolio and support in regulatory aspects of CCR Portfolio.
  • Help out and involve in any new risk initiatives within Risk Management in APAC and organizing discussions with various stakeholders in the bank
  • Help in preparing and presenting communication to senior management, and close collaboration with various stakeholders including Front Office, Treasury, Credit, Legal , Compliance, Operations etc.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent with experience in financial services industry credit risk
  • Ideally at least 5+ years of experience in Counterparty Credit Risk for a Financial Institution.
  • Understanding of CCR related business including products, risks (covering stress testing and wrong way risk) as well as documentation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in written and spoken English
  • Team player, takes ownership of work and outcomes, Meticulous
  • Able to work under tight timelines and comfortable with cross-border interactions
