The HR Generalist role reports to the Group HR Manager Job Summary TheHRGeneralistwillberesponsiblefortheday-to-dayHRoperations,actingasthefirstpointofcontactforemployeesandmanagers.YouwillbeexpectedtoleadateamofHRexecutives.Youwillhandleawiderangeofresponsibilities,fromrecruitmentandonboardingtoemployeerelations.TheidealcandidatewillhaveasolidunderstandingofSingapore'semploymentlandscapeandapassionforcreatingasupportiveandefficientworkplacewithinthedynamicautomotivesector.Thisrolewillbefullyon-siteworkattheoffice. Key Responsibilities Full-Spectrum HR Manageallaspectsoftheemployeelifecycle,includingrecruitment,onboarding,performancemanagement,offboarding,andemployeedatamanagementinourHRIS. Recruitment & Onboarding Partnerwithhiringmanagerstorecruitforvariousroles,includingfrontline,technicalandadministrativestaff. Ensureasmoothandengagingonboardingexperienceforallnewhires. Human Resource Management Directthemanagementofstatutoryentitlements,suchasworkpermits,maternityleave,childcareleave,andrelatedobligations,tosupportbothemployeesandbusinesscontinuity. Ensurefullcompliancewithlaborlaws,CPF,andallstatutoryobligations,safeguardingthecompany’sreputationandaccountability. Overseetheintegrityofworkforceadministration,includingcontracts,staffrecords,leave,andattendancemanagementsystems. AnyotherdutiesandprojectsasandwhenassignedbytheGroupHRManager. Supportthepayrollteam(ifnecessary),includingcommissions,incentives,andovertimecalculations. Performance Management Administerandcoordinateannualperformancemanagementreviewincludingtabulatingresultsandupdatesresultsonthesystem. Driveregularperformancereviews,recognitionprogramsandperformanceimprovementmeasures. Employee Relations & Compliance Upholdafairandconsistentworkplacebyaddressingstaffgrievances,conflicts,anddisciplinarymatterswithintegrityandtransparency. EnsureallHRpracticesareinstrictcompliancewiththeSingaporeEmploymentActandMOMregulations. Assistinpolicydevelopmentandimplementationtofosterapositiveandfairworkenvironment. Training & Development Coordinatetrainingsessions,includingmandatorysafetytrainingandproducttrainingforstaff. Supportmanagersinidentifyingemployeedevelopmentneeds. Qualifications & Skills Experience AdegreeinHumanResources,BusinessAdministration,orarelatedfield. Knowledge & Skills Candidatesshouldpossessstrongcommercialacumenandprovenstakeholdermanagementexperience.Aforward-thinkingmindsetwillbeanaddedadvantage. Solid,practicalknowledgeoftheSingaporeEmploymentActandlocalHRpractices. ExperienceinExcelVBA,automationanddigitalizationinstreamliningHRprocesses. Excellentinterpersonalandcommunicationskills,withtheabilitytoconnectwithemployeesacrossalllevels. Highintegrityandprofessionalism,trustedwithsensitiveinformation.
