About the Role As a Technical Support Specialist at Coherent, you’ll be part of a high-performing team supporting clients in their journey to unlock the full potential of Excel models through our powerful Coherent Spark platform. Whether you're responding to support tickets, helping to troubleshoot technical issues, or collaborating with internal teams, you’ll be hands-on with real problems and empowered to make a difference. What Your Day-to-Day Might Look Like Support customers with technical queries, helping them troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Excel models or the Coherent Spark platform Log and manage support tickets using internal tools, keeping things well‑organized and customers informed Review and test Excel models to identify issues or optimization opportunities Assist in converting and preparing Excel models for use within our platform Work closely with senior team members, project managers, and developers to understand client needs and deliver quality solutions Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, explaining technical issues in simple, relatable terms Participate in team discussions and contribute to improving support processes and documentation What You'll Need to Succeed 1–3 years' experience in a technical support, data analyst, or software-focused role Strong working knowledge of Excel, including functions and formulas (experience with VBA is a plus) Basic understanding of SQL and databases Exposure to or interest in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills Great attention to detail and a willingness to dive into problems Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and meet deadlines A degree in a technical, mathematical, or business-related field is preferred Bonus points if you’ve had exposure to financial modeling, insurance, or fintech—but it’s not a must.
