Role Overview

Drive the development of site Planning and Inventory strategies, monitor team performance and metrics, and incorporate the vision into all planning elements. Recognize subject matter experts in Planning and Inventory processes, tools, and applications. Manage a team of direct and indirect resources to support strategy deployment and contribute to regional or global assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage material shortages and collaborate with Purchasing and SLM teams to ensure clear to build.
  • Act as liaison between customer project management and internal departments for new product requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate demand management, excess, surplus, and obsolete inventory management.
  • Collaborate on engineering changes affecting bills of material.
  • Achieve inventory targets and drive results through stakeholder collaboration.
  • Maintain continuous material supply and monitor MPS accuracy and attainment.
  • Perform financial impact analysis to mitigate inventory risks.
  • Manage production schedules, POR, OAR, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Oversee RMA orders, supply chain metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead SCM team training, performance management, and development.
  • Manage inventory processes, systems, and tools, including Celestica HUB.
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Extensive knowledge of electronics manufacturing, global supply chain, and transportation.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Kinaxis, Excel, and statistical analysis.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
Physical Demands & Experience
  • Office environment with light physical effort.
  • 7+ years of related experience, including 5+ years in project management and NPI.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
