  • You should have at least 15+ years of experience working in the automotive industry. As a Practice Director at KPIT, you will be responsible for understanding KPIT's Cloud, Data Platform & Gen AMI offerings and solutions. Your role will involve representing these offerings to address customer requirements and challenges effectively.It is crucial for you to act as an Ambassador for KPIT in the automotive market in new geographies that are yet to be developed. Building strong relationships with customers and internal teams is key to realizing long-term customer partnerships successfully. You will also play a vital role in supporting the KPIT recruitment team to identify candidates and build a local engineering team specifically for French customers.Your responsibilities will include understanding and interpreting customer requirements and RFQs, mapping them to KPIT offerings and competencies. Collaboration with the KPIT sales organization to identify new business opportunities and provide additional support to customers will be essential. You will also be expected to participate in regular customer meetings and contribute towards defining technology roadmaps and investment proposals to meet customer and market needs effectively.Monitoring the activities of KPIT competitors in France and sharing relevant information with the organization will be part of your role. Working closely with offshore SMEs and leaders in estimation, high-level project planning, and developing attractive customer propositions will be crucial to your success. Having joint KRAs of revenue along with the market sales team is expected.In terms of technical skills, you should possess good knowledge of Data Platform, Cloud, Gen AI/ML, Scrum, Linux, C/C++, etc. Understanding infrastructure modules, open-source software, licenses relevant to IVI, automotive sub-domains, and vehicle architecture is required. Hands-on experience in software architecture and design using standard design modeling tools is essential.Soft skills such as negotiation, passion for technology trends in the automotive domain, fostering good relationships, excellent presentation skills, and flexibility to visit customers and development partners will be valuable assets in this role.,
