- Plan submarine cable routing in consultation with consortium members, operations staff, and relevant local authorities in Singapore and international waters.
- Stay updated on permitting regulations and ensure compliance to support optimal cable route planning, considering cost and operational requirements.
- Review and approve route survey results.
- Resolve marine incidents and approve recommendations from onboard ship representatives.
- Attend planning and coordination meetings with authorities (e.g., MPA, IMDA) and contractors to address marine cable routing issues.
- Serve as a member of the Marine Working Group during the marine installation phase.
- Maintain and update submarine cable "as-built" and "as-repaired" route information in the GIS database.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering or a related field
- 5–7 years of relevant work experience
- Project management skills and experience
- Familiarity with GIS tools and marine survey data interpretation
- Experience working with regulatory authorities and multi-party project coordination.
