Senior Manager, Submarine Cable Planning

**Responsbilities**:

- Plan new submarine cable constructions in the mid-term (3 to 5 years) in support of Singtel’s capital investments with the objectives to lower Singtel’s cost structure.
- Assist in formation of business case for cable projects, assist in the process leading to Group approval.
- Liaise with Product and Sales teams on customers’ requirements and delivery timeframes.
- Liaise with internal finance teams to provide and update financial status of cable projects.
- Engage submarine system suppliers through regular workshops/seminar to update on advancement of new technologies in the market.
- Advise local authorities on the working principles, features, technology advancement and limitations of submarine systems when necessary.
- Project manage new submarine cable system implementation with local and international suppliers.
- Plan and design submarine cable routing in consultation in Singapore waters and international waters

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, Communications or Mechanical
- Minimum 10 years working experience in the relevant field.
- Experience in Electrical or electronic engineering with specialization in Optical Fiber communication.
- Project management skills
- Good communication skills
- Good to have PMP certification. Vendor management, Contract law knowledge
