Product Manager

We’re looking for a Product Manager to lead FlowSmart Canopy, our next-generation internal workspace that powers critical operations tools. Canopy is both a platform (shared framework, design system, governance) and a product (core apps used daily by Ops teams).
This role is horizontal and cross-functional — you’ll work with engineering, design, platform, and product teams across Flo. You’ll be the voice of our internal users, ensuring that FlowSmart Canopy delivers consistent, scalable, and user-friendly tools and guiding its evolution from early foundations to company-wide adoption.

Your focus will grow as the platform and business needs evolve.
Initially, You Will

• Own the vision, roadmap, and governance of FlowSmart Canopy, prioritising features that unlock measurable user impact.
• Drive discovery with ops, engineering and product design to capture requirements across internal tools.
• Shape the foundational framework (navigation, audit trails, shared components).
• Define guardrails and governance for teams building on FlowSmart Canopy to prevent siloed, fragmented internal tools.
• Maintain the backlog and roadmap, writing clear requirements, prioritising, and sequencing work for rapid delivery.
• Align decisions and manage dependencies with engineers and PMs through regular cross-team forums.
• Track and report core metrics (usage, latency, support tickets, % Salesforce workflows migrated).
• Lead the squad’s agile rituals and enforce a clear definition of done.
  

Over Time, You Will Also

• Guide migration sequencing from Salesforce and legacy systems into FlowSmart Canopy.
• Expand FlowSmart Canopy to support new product and market domains.
• Balance ops user needs with technical debt and refactors.
• Drive cross-tool features like global search, navigation, and audit trails that no single product team would own.
• Lead release/change communications so ops teams are trained and supported.
• Promote transparency and structured intake so the platform remains focused on high-value impact.
  

You Will Be a Good Candidate If You Have

• Proven ability to align and energise complex stakeholder ecosystems (Ops, Eng, multiple product teams).
• Strong user empathy and ability to translate pain points into structured requirements.
• Systems thinking, clarity in documentation, and skill with Jira, Confluence, Figma (or similar).
• Confidence to say “no” to low-value work and advocate for user-centric product decisions.
• Experience with agile methodologies and delivering incremental improvements in complex environments.
• Alignment with Flo Energy’s values and a passion for building scalable internal products that accelerate the electrification transition.
  

Any of these will help you get up and running faster:

• Prior experience with internal tooling, Salesforce, or legacy system migrations.
• Background in platform PM, governance of shared frameworks, or UX/design systems.
• Familiarity with B2B SaaS ops workflows or regulated industries (e.g., energy).
• Track record of launching platform-style products where adoption by other teams was the success metric.
