The Head of Sales Leads the strategic and operational sales function for the HD’s SEA AP portfolio including façade systems, ceilings, cladding, and related building solutions. They are responsible for developing growth strategies, driving specification with architects and consultants, managing key accounts, and ensuring revenue and margin objectives are met. This role combines technical sales leadership, market strategy, and team management — requiring strong experience in the construction and architectural products industry. 1. Sales Strategy & Leadership Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for architectural products aligned with corporate objectives. Set annual sales targets, budgets, and KPIs for the team. Drive market share growth across key verticals (commercial, institutional, hospitality, and residential projects). Lead forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM utilization for accuracy and visibility. 2. Market Development & Business Growth Identify new market opportunities in façade, shading, and architectural systems sectors. Expand the company’s network with architects, developers, façade consultants, contractors, and design-build firms. Collaborate with marketing and specification teams to increase product visibility and inclusion in project tenders/specifications. Evaluate market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to guide strategic decisions. 3. Client & Partner Management Cultivate relationships with key accounts — architects, façade consultants, contractors, and real estate developers. Negotiate contracts and pricing with major clients and partners. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and design forums. Ensure superior customer experience from project concept through completion. Manage, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement continuous training and capability building. Foster collaboration between sales, marketing, operations, and technical support teams. Build a results-driven and customer-centric culture. Monitor and report on sales performance, profitability, and market share. Oversee pricing strategy and margin optimization. Collaborate with finance and supply chain to ensure project profitability and timely delivery. Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation efficiently. CANDIDATE PROFILE Educational Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration. Experience 10+ years in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in architectural products, façade systems, or building materials. Proven track record in specification selling and managing complex, multi-stakeholder B2B sales cycles. Experience working with architects, designers, contractors, and developers in Southeast Asia. Knowledge of building envelopes, shading systems, façades, and sustainability standards (e.g., Green Mark, LEED, WELL). Skills Strong leadership and team development abilities. Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills. Strategic thinker with analytical and financial acumen. Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and project tracking.
