  • This role within the Network Design and Engineering group involves working with the Network Services Product Owner to lead the Architecture and Design Standards of network services globally and integrate them architecturally to scale application services on-prem in a hybrid multi-cloud strategy. As a senior technical position for a cyber specialist, you will act as an interface between the cyber security group and network engineering. Your responsibilities include maintaining cyber consistency in design standards, collaborating with cyber & audit requirements, and delivering NPS cyber strategy. Your day-to-day tasks will involve aspects of architecture, design, governance, and consultation to create Network Service Architectures, Designs, and Standards aligned with business and architectural needs. You will be accountable for network technology architecture, design, standardization, certification, and development in relation to cyber strategy and standards. Your role will include defining or validating standards to meet the latest cyber requirements, working closely with cyber engineering to develop new network standards and roadmaps, and proactively removing cyber threats from the network estate. Required Skills And Experience:- Proven work experience as a Cyber Security Specialist or in a similar role- Broad experience in network cyber strategy- Expertise in proxy and firewall solutions- Strong background in designing network security policy and network hardening- Experience in automating network hardening and policy automation- Hands-on experience in analyzing high volumes of logs, network data, and attack artifacts- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning solutions- Proficiency in antivirus and security softwareDesired Skills And Experience:- Design of automated network deployments and automation experience with on-prem/cloud platforms using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Python- Familiarity with Git code repositories/pipelines and defining Policy as Code- Experience with multiple Cloud vendors (AWS, Azure, Google) in building and maintaining reliable infrastructure and security services- Experience in the Financial Services Industry- Degree in Engineering or Computer ScienceLSEG is a global financial markets infrastructure and data provider with a mission to drive financial stability, empower economies, and enable sustainable growth.
