SAP MM Lead Consultant (Brownfield Implementation – Retail Industry) Duration: 10–12 Months (Contract) Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Lead Consultant to lead the Materials Management (MM) workstream in a brownfield S/4HANA implementation project for the retail industry . The role requires a strong leader with deep functional expertise in procurement, inventory management, and logistics, capable of aligning system processes with business objectives and ensuring a successful S/4HANA transition. Key Responsibilities Lead the SAP MM stream throughout the brownfield implementation lifecycle — from blueprinting to go-live and hypercare. Engage with key business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate procurement and inventory management requirements. Design and configure MM solutions in alignment with S/4HANA best practices and retail industry requirements. Ensure effective integration with related modules (SD, PP, QM, FICO, EWM). Define business processes for procurement (P2P), vendor management, pricing, goods movements, and stock management. Oversee data migration activities for materials, vendors, and purchasing documents. Lead functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training activities. Prepare detailed functional specifications for custom developments and coordinate with technical teams. Provide leadership and direction to onsite/offshore MM team members. Support go-live, hypercare, and process stabilization post-implementation. Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of experience in SAP Materials Management (MM) , including full-cycle implementations. Minimum one S/4HANA brownfield conversion or upgrade project as an MM Lead. Strong understanding of procurement and inventory processes in the retail or consumer goods industry. Deep expertise in purchase requisitions, purchase orders, pricing procedures, goods receipts, stock transfers, and vendor evaluation. Experience in integration with Ariba, EWM, and FIORI applications is a strong plus. Solid understanding of cross-module integration with SD, PP, QM, and FICO. Familiar with S/4HANA simplifications , including Business Partner and new MRP functionalities. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills. Experience working in Singapore or regional ASEAN projects preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
