Overview

Officer/Assistant Vice President - AML Refresh Operations - Global Banking and Global Markets role at Bank of America. The Periodic Refresh Team in Global Banking & Global Markets Operations ensures periodic refreshes or reviews are completed within the stipulated timelines and in line with regulatory requirements. The team supports AML/CDD checks, CKYC processing, and related validations, and participates in internal and external audits and regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform document gap analysis to ensure documentation meets regulatory requirements.
  • Execute CKYC processes and ensure timely completion.
  • Provide support for Periodic Refresh or reviews by conducting validations and other sub-processes to fulfill checklists.
  • Implement new or updated regulatory requirements as issued by regulators.
  • Collaborate with Banking, Sales, FLU cross-regional teams and other groups as needed.
  • Partner with MLRO for guidance or approvals to help complete refreshes on time.
  • Monitor and assess risks and impacts of non-compliance with KYC processes, including restrictions and closures.
  • Participate in internal and external audits requiring research and investigation skills.
  • Support remediations with tight deadlines.
  • Prepare MIS and control reports; respond to stakeholder inquiries.
  • Suggest process improvements and drive a collaborative, output-oriented culture.
Skills
  • Initiative: identify process improvements, self-starter attitude, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Strong interpersonal skills for motivation, collaboration and communication.
  • Effective communication to coordinate with various groups as needed.
