The individual will provide professional counselling services, mentor junior staff, be involved in outreach effort, and lead the Counselling & Therapy Service (CTS).
Responsibilities:
- Initiate and/or participate in outreach efforts related to the Division
- Perform the role of Programme In-Charge and oversee the delivery of Counselling & Therapy Service
- Develop strategies and oversee their implementation for the growth of Counselling & Therapy Service
- Provide counselling assessment and intervention for clients
- Documentation of all case related records
Requirements:
- Proven experience in working with youths and managing trauma-related cases
- Possess good knowledge and experiences with providing counselling interventions in both individual and group setting
- Master's degree in counselling, or equivalent, with at least 7 years of experience in social service sector or similar setting
- Registered counsellor with a recognized professional body (e.g., SAC, SPS)
- Prior experience in providing case and clinical supervision to social service practitioners, and/or counsellors
