Transform Lives as a Senior Counsellor in Tampines

About the Role:
A senior counsellor is needed to provide professional counselling services, mentor junior staff and lead the Counselling & Therapy Service (CTS). The ideal candidate will have experience in working with youths and managing trauma-related cases, as well as a master's degree in counselling or equivalent. The role involves initiating and participating in outreach efforts, overseeing the delivery of CTS, developing strategies for growth, providing counselling assessment and intervention, and documentation of case records.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide professional counselling services to clients
2. Mentor junior staff and supervise their work
3. Participate in outreach efforts related to the division
4. Oversee the delivery of Counselling & Therapy Service (CTS)
5. Develop strategies for the growth of CTS
Requirements:
- Master's degree in counselling or equivalent
- At least 7 years of experience in social service sector or similar setting
- Registered counsellor with a recognized professional body
- Prior experience in providing case and clinical supervision to social service practitioners and/or counsellors
