Our client is an established and reputable international Insurance group with a solid focus in further developing the Asia markets. The Group has diverse businesses across Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Pensions and Asset Management. As part of strategic growth, the group is seeking a high-calibre Partnership Distribution Professional to join the Regional Distribution Strategy Team. The position can be based in Hong Kong or Singapore.

The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:

• Be a senior member of the Regional Partnership Distribution team, play a pivotal role in driving distribution effectiveness, transformation, and sustainable growth across the region.
• Drive the success and lead the management of strategic Bancassurance partnerships across key Asian markets, navigating a rapidly shifting regulatory and operational environment, while managing a complex, multi-layered stakeholder ecosystem
• Collaborate closely with Business leaders, be instrumental in shaping and executing strategies that align with the Group’s long-term vision.
• Take a lead in the expansion of strategic Bancassurance partnerships across Asia and other emerging markets.
• Responsible for defining and delivering market-specific growth strategies that support the Group’s overarching objectives and ensure long-term success.
• Cultivate strategic, high-impact relationships with regional and local leadership to unlock new revenue streams, spearhead initiatives that elevate partner engagement, enhance channel performance, and drive deeper customer penetration across all markets.
• Spearhead the development of differentiated propositions in health, protection, and high-net-worth segments with innovation at the heart of the approach.
• Identify emerging digital opportunities, drive the adoption of digital acquisition tools and data-driven distribution strategies, while leading transformation initiatives that enhance regional partnership distribution capabilities and maximize impact.
• Ensure the Group remains ahead of the curve, integrating customer insights and competitive intelligence into strategic planning.
• Proactively respond to market shifts by evolving distribution strategies that reinforce and expand the company’s market leadership.
• Foster cross-market collaboration by aligning with local business units to achieve strategic goals in profitability, customer acquisition, and product penetration.
• Promote the exchange of best practices and foster regional synergy across the Group’s bancassurance footprint, reinforcing a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 15 years relevant partnership distribution experience in Bancassurance from Life Insurance of Retail Banking
• Specialization in Bancassurance distribution, sales management, partnership relationship management and engagement, and / or digitally enabled distribution strategy
• Experience in regional and / or local markets experience with familiarity to SE Asia, emerging markets and / or Mekong region
• Proven success in leading complex bancassurance distribution and digital innovation initiatives
• Strong knowledge of life insurance financials, product mechanics, pricing advantage, data analytics usage and operational drivers
• Demonstrated expertise in project leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional execution
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
