What the role is:

You conduct research and provide timely analysis of the information environment, with focus on defence, security developments and socio-economic issues.

What you will be working on:

- Conduct research and analysis of the information environment- Perform information network analysis- Study the resonance of narratives in the information environment- Liaise with stakeholders on collection requirements, planning, and execution- Support capability development with various entities- Provide accurate, relevant, and timely analytical productsChallenge(s)- Embracing a steep learning curve in a complex field- Quickly making sense of ongoing developments and conversations in the information environment

What we are looking for:

- Education in Mass Communications or Social Sciences (e.g., Political Science, International Relations, Psychology, Economics)- Good analytical and writing skills- Good awareness of Singapore's political, defence, and security developments as well as understanding of current affairs- Acute awareness of the regional and international media environment- Ability to leverage media environment knowledge for MINDEF/SAF's benefit- Proficiency in a vernacular language is advantageous(Applicants with no experience may apply.)Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
