What the role is

You deep dive into technical solutions, work with operational users to acquire datasets and models for the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).

What you will be working on
  • Develop AI/ML products for the SAF - Identify, initiate, and promulgate worthwhile engineering projects across the SAF.
  • Work with operational users to acquire and utilise relevant datasets and models.
  • Ensure beneficial deployment of AI/ML tools within the SAF.
  • Address challenges in deploying AI/ML within the SAF.
  • Maintaining in-depth understanding of AI/ML and languages like Python.
  • Applying experience with complex data structures and algorithms.
  • Staying acquainted with rapidly evolving AI/ML technologies.
  • Ensuring deep understanding of AI/ML application and impact in military contexts.
What we are looking for
  • Education in quantitative, scientific and technology fields such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science and Analytics.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML (supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, deep learning).
  • Hands-on experience with current AI tools like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Strong leadership, planning and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under stressful environments.
