AVP, Digital Transformation Specialist, Group Ops Capability Centre (GOCC), Group COO - (WD76295)

Group Operations enables and empowers the bank with efficient, nimble and resilient processes through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group Operations, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Group Ops Capability Centre (GOCC) was formed to accelerate innovation via development and deployment of AI capabilities and COE setups, and at the same time to ensure resiliency and standardisation . The function also holds the mandate to oversee digital transformation initiatives across the 3 Lines of Business Ops (LOBOs) and Operations COO functions.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management & Execution: Participate in key Ops processing Centre of Excellence (COE) initiatives for Group Ops Transformation. To manage and oversee project management activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring, workshops, tracking and reporting of the key milestones and progress till operationalisation, ensuring alignment withthe defined success metrics. Provide support for key system(s) and AI capabilities.

  • Change Management: Develop and implement change management approach to facilitate the adoption of new digital tools and processes.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration & Liaison: Drive alignment, coordinate and work closely with Business users/stakeholders, Line Ops, Technology teams, Data Chapter team, RDU controllers, UORMs, etc. to gather the necessary elements to enhance operational efficiency, customer and/or employee experience, and process automation.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Organise and support in providing project management and governance updates via various forums, working groups, and senior management meetings.

  • Data-driven Decision Making: Define objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPI)s, identify and collect data for onward data analysis, and develop insights to support decision making and strategic planning.

  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively explore and identify areas for new process improvement and/or enhancement and support initiatives to strengthen the project management and transformation operating model in Group Ops.

Requirements

  • Minimum Experience : 5 years of experience preferably in the banking industry - consulting or technology for financial services.Has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or Information Systems and Management or similar.

  • Banking & Tech knowledge : Ability to understand and interpret Ops processes. Good understanding of consumer and/or corporate banking products and processes will be a plus. Strong understanding of digital transformation strategies, technologies, and best practices.

  • Project Management : Be able to plan, coordinate, execute, track and deliver cross functional initiatives using strong project management skills.Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

  • Stakeholder & Collaboration Management : Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. A good team player, with the ability to function independently as well.

  • Data Acumen : Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations. Ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions if required.

  • Meticulous : Comfortable with managing and analysing all information. Is meticulous, has an eye for details.

  • Communication : Excellent written, presentation and communication skills.Analytical and able to think out-of-the-box.
