The Field Service Engineer is responsible for Compliance & Safety, Installation/Commissioning, Maintenance/Repairs, Technical Support and Reporting.
This position reports to the Area Service Manager, Singapore and is part of the ASEAN Equipment Services Team and will be an on-site role.
What you will do:

  • Responsible in performing on-site installation, qualification, commissioning, repair and plan maintenance for Cytiva's equipment.
  • Providing quality services as per company's service guidelines and meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set forth in your respective team. And adhere to company health and safety guidelines.
  • Working closely with service sales in preparing proposals/recommendations to customers.
  • Timely and proper input of services performed in the company's database (CRM)
  • Collaboration and working closely with cross functional teams (commercial, logistics, product and leadership) to enhance customer experience
Who you are:
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience preferably in the Life Sciences or Biotech industry with a strong background in engineering. Automation experience/knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and with good problem-solving skills when faced with complex issues.
  • Strong work ethics and able to maintain good rapport with customers and internal team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Other ASEAN language is a plus.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
  • Able to travel extensively and on short notice across Singapore and ASEAN.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • 1-2 years in Life Sciences / Biotechnology Industry
