Overview
Role Overview: As our first strategic Marketing Lead, you will be the architect of Equitize's marketing engine. Reporting directly to the executive team, you will have full ownership of the marketing strategy, from brand positioning to demand generation. You will be responsible for building a scalable marketing function from the ground up, targeting sophisticated institutional clients at the intersection of traditional finance and blockchain technology. This is a hands-on role for a builder who is passionate about defining a new category in fintech.
Key Responsibilities- Marketing Strategy: Develop, execute, and own the company\'s end-to-end B2B marketing strategy to build brand awareness and drive pipeline growth.
- Product Marketing: Collaborate closely with the CPO and leadership to translate complex product features across our offerings into clear, compelling value propositions and marketing messages for our target audiences.
- Demand Generation: Design and manage integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, email, events, content) to generate qualified leads from target personas like institutional investors, crypto treasuries, and fund managers.
- Content & Communications: Oversee the content strategy, working with our content writer to create high-impact materials such as whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and webinars that establish Equitize as a thought leader in asset tokenization.
- Digital Presence: Manage and optimize the company’s digital footprint, including the corporate website, SEO/SEM, social media presence, and landing pages to improve engagement and conversion.
- Events & Partnerships: Identify, plan, and execute strategic event participation (both virtual and in-person) at key industry conferences to build relationships and generate leads.
- Analytics & Reporting: Define, track, and analyze key marketing KPIs to measure campaign performance, report on marketing\'s contribution to the sales pipeline, and provide data-driven recommendations for future initiatives.
- Partnership Management: Co-ordinate and manage partners across different segments for announcements, press and marketing initiatives.
- 3-5+ years of experience in a B2B marketing role, with a strong preference for experience in fintech, financial services, or blockchain technology.
- Good understanding of successful marketing campaigns towards an institutional audience (e.g., asset managers, corporate treasuries, financial institutions).
- Demonstrable experience developing and executing marketing strategies that drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth.
- Hands-on experience with the modern marketing tech stack (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, analytics tools).
- Exceptional communication and copywriting skills, with the ability to distill technical concepts into clear, customer-centric messaging.
- A data-driven mindset with a strong understanding of how to measure and report on marketing performance.
- Bonus Points: Deep understanding of the asset tokenization, Real-World Asset (RWA), or DeFi landscape. Experience working in a high-growth, early-stage startup environment with a high degree of autonomy.
