General Description The Trust Administrator is a member of the Trust Company, Singapore. He/she is expected to fulfil the mission of the Fiduciary Services and to deliver upon its value proposition as part of Comprehensive Client Solution. The Trust Administrator reports to Head Structure Management 1. KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION People Management When assigned or required, mentor other members of the fiduciary team including training, problem solving and control of direct reports’ (if any) workload when necessary Provide support to Trust Manager when required Handle new business enquiries working flexibly with colleagues in all departments Client Management (internal & external) Act as a liaison between Internal clients – WP, Key People in Private Banking Division and external clients – clients and selected external service providers Provision of high quality trust and company services to High Net Worth / Ultra High Net Worth individuals When required, work in close partnership with the Wealth Planning Advisory unit to handle new business enquiries from potential internal / external customers and professional intermediaries, ensuring smooth, efficient and timely onboarding of new accounts in compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements Interact with colleagues in a way which maintains high levels of morale and promotes sound team values (work ethic, service standards, productivity, commercial flexibility, flexible working across the Group) Engage in engineering of tailored structures referred by Wealth Planning, including attendance of client meetings, supervision of professional advisors, and oversight of the case, utilising robust risk management techniques Analyze and manage situations involving fiduciary risk, using technical knowledge and exercising sound judgement Business Management Administration and oversight of complex trusts, companies and other fiduciary structures Close coordination with Wealth Planning colleagues to maximize continuity and efficiency across the Group Maintain close contact with teams at overseas Trust Centres to align procedures, operating standards and practices Perform timely completion of investment reviews, annual reviews, minor administrative matters, key issues, financial statements approval and trust client reviews Regulatory Responsibilities & Risk Management Demonstrate values and behaviors: integrity, due care, diligence, fair dealing, conflict of interest management, competence, continuous development, risk management and compliance with laws and regulations Uphold sound working practices for key stakeholders and regulators (Monetary Authority of Singapore, Legal & Compliance, Internal Auditors, External Auditors) Analyze and manage high commercial (fiduciary) risk situations, improving internal procedures in consultation with local Compliance Monitor key indicators: investment reviews, structure reviews, key issues, administrative matters, client financial statement approvals, trust client reviews Keep abreast of market competition, industry changes, service innovations and other information that may impact marketing strategy and positioning Your Profile Personal and Social Excellent communication skills—verbal, written and listening—with the ability to express ideas simply and directly Consensus builder, straightforward and honest style. Able to quickly establish credibility and instil trust and confidence Enthusiastic self-starter with reputation for innovative problem solving and strategic development; high drive and energy Proactive, commercial and innovative in servicing both internal and external clients Team player, balances unit’s interests with the wider Group Analytical, creative, service-oriented and entrepreneurial Accustomed to working with other cultural/language environments Professional and Technical Professional qualifications or suitable industry experience Ideally 5+ years of wealth management working experience Broad knowledge of trust/company administration practices, tax and estate planning, financial planning, accounting, banking and investments Commitment to professional, ethical and legal standards Business Mandarin communication a plus, as role supports Mandarin-speaking clients We look forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
