Singtel x Singapore Institute of Technology have launched the Work-Study Programme (WSP) called "The Catalyst Programme" in Feb 2023. This structured on-the-job (OJT) development programme allows Polytechnic Diploma holders to secure a full-time position with Singtel while pursuing a university honours degree in Applied Computing. The programme is open to both internal Singtel employees and external polytechnic diploma holders, preferably from the ICT domain. Non-ICT diploma holders are encouraged to apply. Over a 3-year period, the programme aims to develop talent by completing micro-credentials for each module, which stack up to an honours degree in Applied Computing. Candidates will be offered a specific role as described below. Are you ready for this challenge?

The Associate Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining Satellite ground segment services. He/She should have experience in networking, systems, security, or relevant satellite environment experience.

  • Perform ground segment support and maintenance for Satellite functions.
  • Provide 24x7 on-call standby support for operations and anomalies.
  • Support business function audits for quality management, business continuity, and information security.
  • Assist in Change Management for system, OS upgrades, and security patches.
  • Review resource utilization and network/system capacity.
  • Experience with networking equipment and server maintenance is preferred.
Requirements
  • Diploma from a reputable Polytechnic
  • Up to 3 years of work experience
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
