Chief Marketing Officer (Equity Only – Travel Tech Startup)

BareStay is a fast-growing travel tech startup reshaping how people discover and book hotels. With signed hotel partners, early traveler traction, and strategic industry collaborations (including Thai Airways and national tourism bodies), we are building momentum ahead of our V1 web platform launch on October 10 .

Our launch markets are Thailand and Indonesia , two of the fastest-growing tourism hubs in the world. BareStay is positioning itself as the smarter way for travelers to book, direct, exclusive, and full of perks that make traditional booking platforms feel outdated.

We’ve built strong hotel supply, we’re preparing for rapid expansion, and now we’re ready for the last missing piece of the founding team: a marketing leader to scale our traveler base.

Role Description

We’re looking for a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join as a founding team member. This is an equity-only role (4%) until we close our seed round, with vesting terms to be confirmed.

As CMO, you will:

  • Lead BareStay’s traveler acquisition strategy from the ground up.
  • Launch creative growth campaigns that bring in our first thousands of users.
  • Define the BareStay brand voice and positioning for travelers globally.
  • Work directly with the CEO and CTO to hit key KPIs ahead of pre-seed investment.
  • Transition into building and scaling a full marketing team post-funding.
