What The Role Is

Officer is primarily responsible for managing the full life cycle of SCDF’s top talent, from talent scouting to hiring. The officer will also oversee the review of any related policies.

The officer will need to work closely with multiple stakeholders like Institutes of Higher Learning and media partners to organise and execute outreach efforts like career events and marketing to captivate potential candidates' interest, drive engagement, and support the organisation's recruitment objectives.

The officer will also be engaged in partnership building with the relevant stakeholders that contributes to the organisation’s hiring needs.

What You Will Be Working On
  • To manage the full hiring life cycle for SCDF Scholars and related policies.
  • To plan and execute career outreach and marketing strategies for SCDF uniformed and civilian officers, that are aligned with overall organisation recruitment needs/goals, with vendors and stakeholders.
  • To update and monitor recruitment statistics for proper analysis of outreach and marketing activities.
  • Partnership building with multiple stakeholders that contribute to the organisation’s hiring needs.
  • To ensure timely submission of reports to approving authority so as to facilitate the timely decision making.
What We Are Looking For
  • A bachelor\'s degree or higher in a relevant field, such as communication, marketing, or media.
  • Candidates with a minimum of 3 proven years of experience in a talent acquisition or marketing role.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be mobile, network, articulate and market SCDF’s career information and initiatives to various audiences.
  • Proficiency in data analysis through the use of Microsoft Office and other software.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
