Due to tremendous demand within the region, we are looking to hire Managing Director/ Executive Director/ Senior Director/ Director level candidates (depending on experience) in our Tax Practice across our Southeast Asia offices, in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Our Tax Practice covers all aspects of tax advisory services in Asia, including M&A tax due diligence, tax structuring, general tax advisory services etc. This position will lead and/or execute a diverse range of complex assignments as well as cross border transactions. The candidate will also work closely with our Transaction Advisory Group and Private Equity Performance Improvement Group to provide integrated due diligence to the world's largest and most high profile corporate, private equity and financial investors. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
  • 10+ years of tax consulting experience - Big 4 experience preferred.
  • Possess strong leadership, execution, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to exceed client expectations and deliver high quality client service.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Team player who can excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, challenging work environment.
  • Good writing, analytical, research and organizational skills.
OVERVIEW OF A&M SOUTHEAST ASIA AND AUSTRALIA Alvarez & Marsal established its Southeast Asia and Australia presence in 2017 and has in the last year scaled up rapidly across the region, with 8 offices now in Singapore (HQ), Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Ho Chi Minh City; these are complemented by our offices in North Asia in Greater China (Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing) and Seoul. In addition to these locations, A&M Asia has extensive experience in serving clients across other APAC countries. Our experienced team has an average of more than 15 years' experience and combines top-tiers consultants and C-level executives from different industries. Our clients consist of Private Equity firms investing in Asia or with portfolio businesses operating in Asia; distressed funds or hedge funds holding debt issued by Asian companies; banks lending to Asian businesses; local and multinational corporations with businesses, operations and supply chains in Asia as well as law firms.
