Overview

As a Lead / Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and implementing large-scale IT projects with quality, within scope, ensuring deliverables are on time, and conform to processes and standards meeting customer requirements.

What will you do?

Project Delivery

1. Analyze and document requirements by liaising with users and managers, gathering information across the organization.
2. Establish and prepare project plans, risk management plans, milestones, and deliverables in consultation with stakeholders.
3. Manage project implementation daily regarding schedules, budget, manpower, and quality.
4. Manage scope definition and change control mechanisms.
5. Escalate and discuss issues like project overruns, scope creep, and resource needs with senior management.
6. Oversee integration of project components, including hardware, software, testing, and data migration.
7. Ensure timely delivery by monitoring activities, identifying critical paths, and adjusting schedules as needed.
8. Manage resources—including hardware, software, personnel, and logistics—to ensure project completion within budget.
9. Review documentation to meet customer requirements and quality standards.
10. Define project resources, conduct performance reviews, and post-implementation evaluations.
11. Negotiate with vendors and teams to secure resources during project phases.
12. Build relationships with users, technical staff, and management to resolve system implementation issues.
13. Manage contracts and subcontractors.
14. Negotiate change requests with customers, prioritizing based on business needs.
15. Maintain clear communication regarding project issues and clarifications.

Business Development

1. Identify opportunities for service expansion and liaise with Account Managers.
2. Participate in pre-sale activities.

Team Management

1. Coordinate with team members to ensure task progress.
2. Plan, track, and monitor team tasks.
3. Delegate tasks with clear instructions and goals.
4. Lead the project team, analyzing proposals and evaluating benefits and costs.
5. Provide team with business needs and system details.
6. Participate in leadership activities, provide feedback, and coaching.
7. Monitor and improve team performance through leadership and coaching.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• At least 5 years of IT project management experience.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and project planning tools like MS Project.
• Certification in recognized project management standards (PMP, PRINCE II, CITPM).
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude, excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build respectful, trusting relationships.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel as required.
