About The Role

The Business & Product Operations, Senior Manager will drive the adoption and growth of the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) product spanning Southeast Asia. As part of the Regional Team, you will be the key personnel to ensure the smooth-running operations of our lending business across leading Alibaba E-commerce platforms, responsible for all internal and external stakeholder management. You are a goal-getter, a people person and a hands-on project manager who will manage projects efficiently and implement the product roadmap and plans.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire chain of business operations from product development plans, campaign management, marketing and partnership collaboration with internal stakeholders with cross function teams such as product, technology, legal, finance, compliance, marketing, credit risk and customer service within Alibaba E-commerce platforms.
  • Work with internal and external partners to drive the adoption and growth of BNPL in-country with a good understanding of the fintech/lending scenes in the markets.
  • Contribute and influence the product roadmap together with the product development and technology team to improve overall user experience, develop product features and product operational tools to improve user conversions and experience.
  • Analyse and report key business metrics that will influence business decisions.
  • Understand marketing funnel and user behavior metrics with the ability to analyse current user retention and traffic to create campaigns that educate and drive BNPL adoption.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns and projects with cross-function domains to increase reach and visibility of BNPL.
  • Day-to-day operation management, including internal and external stakeholder alignment and communications with partners, promotion campaigns management, UAT, product roadmap planning, reporting and budget management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Business Finance, Marketing, or related specialisations.
  • 7+ years of experience in product operations, partnerships and/or marketing within technology, lending, financial services, fintech, or e-commerce platforms.
  • Proficient in data analytics with an understanding of key conversion metrics.
  • Strong communicator with good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong multitasking and project management skills across multiple work streams.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast and dynamic environment with a focus on end-results and bottom-line goals.
  • Self-motivated, able to work in a remote team setting and collaborate effectively.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English; local language proficiency is a plus for communicating with regional teams.
  • Experience analyzing marketing funnel, user behavior metrics, retention and traffic to optimize campaigns and increase BNPL penetration on platforms.
