PositionOverview:

DVISolutionsisseekingadetail-orientedAVTechnicalDocumentation&KnowledgeBaseSpecialist tocreate,maintain,andorganizeourtechnicalknowledgebaseforAVsolutions.Thisrolecombinestechnicalexpertisewithclearcommunicationtoproducehigh-qualitydocumentation,diagrams,andlearningresourcessupportingengineers,pre-salesteams,andclients.

YouwilltransformcomplexAVconceptsintoeasy-to-understandguides,systemdiagrams,andtroubleshootingresourcesforinternalandexternalaudiences.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Developdetailed,user-friendlyknowledgebasearticlesonAVconcepts,products,andintegrations,includingbothbasicandadvancedtopics(e.g.,“WhatisaDSP?”and“AVoverIPbasics”).
  • ProduceconfigurationandsetupguidesforkeyAVbrandssuchasCrestron,Biamp,Q-SYS,andShure.
  • Createtechnicaldiagrams,includingsingle-linediagrams,signalflowcharts,andracklayouts,whilemaintainingstandardizedtemplates.
  • Establishandmaintainstyleguides;organizeknowledgebasecontentbycategorieslikeconcepts,productguides,troubleshooting,andbestpractices.
  • Collaboratewithengineers,projectmanagers,andpre-salesstafftocapturetechnicaldetails;conductinterviewsandsitevisitsasneeded.
  • ManageandupdatearticlesinplatformssuchasConfluence,SharePoint,orZendesktokeepdocumentationcurrent.

SkillsandQualifications:

Required:

  • 3+yearsintechnicalwriting,documentation,orAVengineeringroles.
  • StrongknowledgeofAVsystems(DSPs,controlsystems,AVoverIP).
  • ProficiencyindiagrammingtoolssuchasMicrosoftVisio,AutoCAD,orLucidchart.
  • ExcellentEnglishcommunicationskillsandstrongorganizationalability.

Preferred:

  • ExperiencewithCrestron,Biamp,Q-SYS,Extron,AMX,orsimilarsystems.
  • Familiaritywithknowledgebaseplatforms(Confluence,SharePoint,ZendeskGuide).
  • BackgroundinAVintegration,support,orpre-sales.

  • Abilitytoexplaincomplextechnicalconceptsclearlyandconcisely.
  • Strongskillsincreatingtechnicaldiagramsandvisuals.
  • KnowledgeofAVinstallation,configuration,andtroubleshootingbestpractices.
