Highlights of What You’ll Do Reporting to the Regional Controller, you will support the financial operations of the regional office in Singapore, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial processes. A typical day will involve: Prepare, review, and consolidate financial statements to summarize and forecast the organization’s financial status Produce accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports, including ad hoc analyses and financial summaries as requested Develop and manage balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow analyses to monitor performance and forecast future earnings and expenses Establish relevant and timely reporting of key financial metrics, including actual performance versus budget and cost variances Provide financial and business insights to support strategic decision‑making and performance optimization Accounting Operations & Compliance Manage accounting, auditing, and budgeting processes for multiple entities and in multiple currencies, ensuring completeness and compliance with IFRS, HKFRS, and company policies Oversee all aspects of the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and month‑end closing activities Ensure proper documentation, reconciliation, and maintenance of financial records Support the preparation for IFRS-compliant financial statements and research accounting issues to ensure compliance; forecast compliance requirements and provide a workback schedule for global financial oversight Coordinate or assist in the annual budget process and periodic reforecasting of cycles Prepare and coordinate annual audits for multiple entities (separate books and inter‑company relationships); serve as the primary liaison to external auditors Maintain and enforce internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures across the region Process Improvement & Governance Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting, enhance team efficiency, and improve control environments Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, accounting policies, and technical analyses to ensure operational consistency and compliance Monitor adherence to deadlines and deliverables; support accountability and high standards of execution across finance functions Leadership & Team Development Support and mentor accounting staff, ensuring they are well‑trained, competent, and supported in achieving goals and performance standards Lead by example to foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration across regional finance teams Support the accounting team during the closing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial deliverables Business Partnership & Strategic Support Assist the Regional Controller and Group Controller with regional consolidation, forecasting, and management reporting Provide support in general financial management and analysis, including scenario modeling and risk assessment Step in for the Regional Controller as required, ensuring continuity of leadership and decision‑making Support broader finance initiatives, transforming projects, and system enhancements to strengthen regional capabilities What You’ll Bring Along Must‑Haves 5‑6 years of experience in a diverse range of accounting functions including as a manager Degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field Advanced general ledger accounting experience Exceptional quantitative and qualitative analytical capabilities Solid understanding of IFRS and applicable regulations Mathematical, budgeting, and financial reporting background Proficiency with accounting software systems, ERPs, and advanced Excel/financial modelling skills Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment; highly self‑motivated Team player with strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively across functions and geographies. Ability to communicate confidently and professionally in person, virtually, and in writing Fluent in English and Cantonese Nice‑to‑Haves CA Singapore designation is a strong asset Experience with Sage Intacct is an asset Proficiency in Mandarin is an asset Knowledge of import taxes and duties is an asset Experience with a start‑up is an asset What We’ll Give You S$75,000–100,000 per year commensurate with experience High potential for advancement in a fast‑growing company We are always looking for top talent.
