Job Description

Reporting to the Country Head, the Strategy and Growth Manager (SGM) is a dynamic role involved in making strategic decisions in countries where Traveloka operates. The primary responsibility is in country strategy formulation and optimization across domains, involving the development and implementation of strategic frameworks, governance routines, and analytic tools to enable actionable recommendations for achieving financial outcomes.

Key daily tasks include:

  • Define and drive the execution of overarching country strategic growth frameworks.
  • Identify opportunities in demand generation, fulfillment, and supply improvement.
  • Formulate marketing and commercial recommendations by collaborating with regional teams.
  • Define strategies to achieve financial goals, working cross-functionally with Marketing, Commercial, Pricing, Finance, and others.
  • Monitor financial goals, identify growth levers, and drive their implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or relevant fields from reputable universities; a minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0 is a plus. An MBA or Master’s Degree is also a plus.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in the travel industry, technology companies, or consulting firms is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of P&L and growth levers.
  • Ability to distill information and generate insights from various sources.
  • Results-oriented with a proactive, non-rule-based mindset.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across geographies and functions, engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Quick learner capable of synthesizing industry knowledge into strategic growth initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional ethics.
