The Role

We are seeking an experienced program manager with strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills. The candidate should be able to work efficiently and manage effective relationships in a cross-functional organization to meet commitments for successful customer program launches. Must be self-directed and capable of working in complex and dynamic ecosystems.

The Person

As a Program Manager, you will partner with cross-functional teams to manage customer accounts and their portfolios, understand our customers' platforms/solutions, identify and document customer requirements, and establish engineering schedules. You will drive AMD product solution deliverables and align with customers’ platforms to ensure high customer satisfaction throughout their product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive and manage program schedule development and execute tactical plans supporting product development.
  2. Plan program budgets to support product development execution.
  3. Prepare schedule readiness for engineering test solutions supporting first silicon bring-up activities.
  4. Interface and communicate with cross-functional groups for full alignment, reporting, and process improvements.
  5. Coordinate qualification of production test solutions for capacity installation at OSAT.
  6. Provide engineering support to production control and OSAT.
  7. Lead or participate in teams and task forces to resolve production issues.
  8. Manage product lifecycle phase gate reviews.

Preferred Experience

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, preferably with 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Experience in project and program management.
  • Effective leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing revision control and change processes.
  • Knowledge of planning, monitoring, and controlling programs.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changes.
  • General knowledge of IC technologies, fabrication, customer processes, and applications.
  • Understanding of manufacturing and operations phases.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Independent, resourceful, and proactive attitude.

Academic Credentials

  • Formal project management education, PMP or Scrum Master certification.
