Senior Associate/Associate, Regional Trade Finance Specialist, Institutional Banking Group Operations (IBGO), Group COO Role summary and responsibilities are described by DBS DBS Group Operations. This position focuses on daily operations, data maintenance, process improvement, risk and control activities, and collaboration with regional teams to support Trade Finance operations within the Institutional Banking Group Operations (IBGO). Overview Group Operations enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble, and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group Operations, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and aim to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. The Operations Department supports a strong PRIDE culture, focusing on training, staff capability, empowerment, productivity, teamwork, innovation and technology, operational risk management, and collaboration with business partners to deliver excellent RED service to customers. Responsibilities Carry out daily maintenance of static data including customer profiles, pricing, commissions, trade conditions and system parameters for core trade systems Ensure compliance with statutory rules and internal policies, standards and guidelines Review and update Standard Operating Procedures annually or when there are major changes in processes and systems Compile monthly performance reports to track achievement of Service Level Agreements Support the development of IMEX text skeletons for BAU change requests and projects Support risk and control activities such as Quality Assurance Review and Risk and Control Self Assessment Support audit projects that System Administration is in scope Collaborate with regional teams to write and review user stories for system enhancements to streamline System Administration processes Support regional project rollout activities such as user acceptance testing, regression testing and live verification from the System Administration perspective Occasionally provide weekend and holiday support due to regional locations, covering core markets and international centres Requirements University degree in Operations Management, Business Management, Information Systems or relevant disciplines Minimum 3 years of experience in banking operations or relevant experience, preferably with knowledge of trade systems Ability to plan day-to-day operational activities and propose solutions to operational problems Passionate to be a change agent within the team Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain rapport with stakeholders Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills to work with peers and regional teams Good awareness of operational risk Job Details Primary Location: Singapore-DBS Asia Gateway Job: Operations Schedule: Regular Job Type: Full-time Job Posting: Oct 10, 2025 #J-18808-Ljbffr
