  • The Senior/Performance Test Specialist role involves driving existing production performance inefficiencies to resolution and collaborating with product and engineering teams to ensure new products meet customer performance demands. Your responsibilities will include analyzing, designing, and implementing tests, providing data to support design assumptions, and verifying requirements. Additionally, you will play a key role in fostering a performance engineering culture to ensure performance considerations are integrated early in the design phase. You will be responsible for deep-diving into production performance metrics and conducting performance test analysis to identify system bottlenecks, define system capacity, and compare benchmarks. Working closely with the CloudOps team, you will address performance-related issues and collaborate with subject matter experts to find solutions. Your contribution will be crucial in delivering high-quality products in terms of performance, stability, scalability, and reliability.As a Senior/Performance Test Specialist, you will advise engineering teams on scalability and performance strategies, collaborate with database engineers on performance tests, and develop automated performance execution and monitoring solutions. You will gather detailed performance requirements, drive performance initiatives, and contribute to building a data-driven performance test suite. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining and provisioning performance test environments, develop comprehensive test strategies, and implement performance testing initiatives.Your role will involve consulting with development subject matter experts to define relevant metrics and advocating for high-quality software performance. You will communicate performance goals, solutions, and recommendations effectively to peers and cross-functional groups. Reporting to the Team Lead Quality Engineering, you will leverage your hands-on experience in Performance Engineering and technical competencies in monitoring tools, programming languages, performance testing tools, SQL, system environments, cloud concepts, and software engineering design patterns.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in Software development with a focus on Performance Engineering & testing in a Continuous Integration, Continuous testing environment. A Bachelor's degree in Programming/Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience) is required, with a preference for a Master's Degree. Algorithm Design knowledge and familiarity with statistics are considered assets. Your expertise in performance engineering will play a key role in ensuring the performance demands of customers are met effectively.,
