Overview

We are establishing a new hedge fund management company in Singapore and are seeking a highly driven and relationship-focused Investor Relations professional to lead capital-raising and investor engagement efforts. The firm’s investment strategies are powered by proprietary AI-driven algorithmic trading models , delivering systematic and data-driven approaches to capturing alpha across global markets.

The ideal candidate will have strong networks across institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals, as well as proven experience in articulating complex investment strategies such as quantitative and AI-based trading. This is a unique opportunity to join a newly established hedge fund platform at the early stage, with significant exposure to senior leadership and direct impact on the firm’s growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive capital-raising activities across institutional investors, family offices, and HNWIs.
  • Position the firm’s AI-driven algorithmic trading strategies effectively to investors.
  • Develop and execute fundraising strategies aligned with the firm’s investment offerings.
  • Maintain strong investor pipeline and manage deal flow.
Investor Relationship Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective investors.
  • Build and maintain long-term investor relationships through regular updates, meetings, and events.
  • Deliver quarterly/annual investor reports, performance updates, and portfolio reviews.
Marketing & Communication
  • Develop compelling investor materials, including pitchbooks, fact sheets, and presentations, highlighting the fund’s AI trading edge.
  • Coordinate investor roadshows, conferences, and events.
  • Partner with internal teams (investment, legal, compliance) to ensure accurate and timely communication.
  • Monitor fundraising trends, competitor offerings, and investor appetite for AI/quant strategies.
  • Provide insights to senior management on investor demand and strategic opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; CFA/CAIA a plus.
  • 7–12 years of relevant experience in investor relations, capital raising, or sales within hedge funds, private equity, asset management, or investment banking.
  • Strong existing network with institutional investors, family offices, and HNWIs in Asia.
  • Ability to clearly communicate quantitative/AI-driven investment strategies to sophisticated investors.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, able to thrive in a start-up/early-stage fund environment.
  • Deep understanding of hedge fund strategies, algorithmic trading, and alternative investments.
