Motion Graphics Designer (Freelance, Remote) – Twine

This project requires a motion graphics designer with strong expertise in data visualization to transform complex datasets and static charts into engaging, video-first animated sequences. You will work from a detailed script and creative brief, with access to brand guidelines and existing vector assets, ensuring consistency with established visual identity. The role balances creativity with precision, bringing clarity and storytelling to complex subjects through high-quality motion design.

Responsibilities
  • Create animated motion graphics sequences based on raw data and static chart inputs.
  • Translate datasets into clear, visually compelling, and audience-friendly video assets.
  • Incorporate brand guidelines and pre-existing vector assets into all visual outputs.
  • Ensure animations align with the provided script and creative direction.
  • Deliver final video files optimized for digital distribution and internal use.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in motion graphics design with a focus on data visualization.
  • Strong proficiency in tools such as After Effects, Illustrator, and related animation software.
  • Ability to interpret scripts and complex subject matter into clear visual storytelling.
  • Portfolio demonstrating relevant work in data-driven animation and motion graphics.
  • High attention to detail with excellent sense of timing, pacing, and design aesthetics.
  • Comfortable working remotely with clear communication and timely delivery of assets.
  • Availability for potential follow-up work on future projects.
