Trelleborg Sealing Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and market penetration within General Industrial, Semiconductor (Semicon) and Marine in Singapore. This position demands a passionate and driven individual with a strong technical background, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of success in achieving sales targets. Travel around the region is expected.
Task & Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and profitability objectives.
- Develop relationships with key accounts to support and grow current business, generate new business opportunities.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities
- Customer Management:
- Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries, providing technical support and resolving customer issues.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Market Intelligence: Provide timely market feedback, customer trends and information for marketing
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless customer service and project delivery.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field)
- Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience.
- Experience in selling to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of rubber/plastic products, seals, or bearings is highly advantageous.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrates a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and make sound business decisions.
