Base pay range

SGD48,000.00/yr - SGD120,000.00/yr

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement database solutions based on business requirements
  • Optimize and tune database performance by analyzing query execution plans and identifying bottlenecks
  • Ensure data integrity and security by implementing backup and recovery strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
  • Perform database capacity planning and implement scaling strategies
  • Monitor database systems to identify potential issues and proactively address them
Requirements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Proven experience as a Database Engineer or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of database management systems, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
  • Strong understanding of database performance tuning and optimization techniques
  • Experience with database backup and recovery procedures
  • Familiarity with database security best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills
